When Microsoft has first ever announced its new OS- Windows 8 they had said that it will run on touch screen devices too. After its launch in October 2012 almost all PC makers has released their tablet-cum-laptops or Ultrbooks. Now Lenovo has too announced its another machine which run on Windows 8 Pro. 

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch has comes with carbon fiber body, it has a 14 inch HD touch screen with screen resolution of 1600×900 pixels, it is powered by Intel Ivy Bridge processors, it do comes with backlit keyboard which makes easier for you to type in night and you will also get Red pointing Stick which has been developed by IBM. It has inbuilt Dolby Home Theater v4 enhancement to take your music experience to another level, you will get 128 GB of SSD storage, at front of it you will get a video camera which allows you to have HD chat at 720p, it also has dual array microphones.


For connectivity on the X1 Carbon touch, it gets USB 2.0, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, 4 in 1 memory card reader and HDMI. You can also use your 3G SIM to access internet and send mails, this one is good feature. This touch pad comes with multi-touch support. The touch screen has 10 touch points means you can use all your 10 fingers on screen at one time,it also has finger print reader. Lenovo says its battery can last you for 8.2 hours, if its true then its a very good session for such device.

The X1 Carbon Touch is priced at $1,399 (BHD 528), soon it will be available in the entire globe. The touch version is little thicker and heavier (20.8 mm and almost 3.5 pounds) then the non touch (18 mm and 3 pounds) one, but even being heavier and thicker its one of the lightest ultrabook available in the market today.
