Exclusive Report: Producers David Heyman and David Barron revealed that upcoming plans on production of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS – PART 2 at CinemaCon.
During the interview, Heyman and Barron talked about how they decided what footage will be shown in 3D, they confirmed the final installment would be in 3D & revealed that Part I is heading to Blu-ray in 3D and also some of the previous films might as well.
It is finally confirmed Part II is loaded with action, and Heyman said that the last chapter “will be the shortest film.”
Heyman also revealed “The reason they didn’t do it on the first part was because they didn’t feel that they could do it justified manner. And actually the 3D would compromise the film, so they didn’t have the time”.
This time, though, there is apparently plenty of time to make the 3D effects as snappy as possible.
