Galaxy Tab 10.1: UK Release Date and Price

Listen to this article

Amidst the problems being faced by Samsung against its co-partner Apple, getting sued of copying the iPhone and iPad with its Galaxy S and Galaxy Tab devices; the company remains vigilant on selling its beautiful Galaxy Tab 10.1 to the rest of the world.

This week, Samsung officially announced its availability on USA with the same price of $499 (BHD 188) for its WiFi-only model. As of today, we finally got the confirmation of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for UK hitting its release date on August 4 in which its price should be similar with the converted cost of its US model.

Likewise, this is the same amazing tablet that packs a 10.1-inch WXGA TFT LCD screen, a chassis of 8.6 mm (thinner than iPad 2), runs the latest Android 3.1 (Honeycomb), TouchWiz UI, and its models will be available on 3G & WiFi-only. And of course, it will be using the snappy NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU (1GHz) plus its 5MP and 2MP rear and front cameras.

Hopefully, we’ll hear more about its 8.9-inch sibling land on UK as well when we hit August.
