Lenovo breaks the trend of having an all-in-one (AIO) system at a premium price with its ThinkCentre Edge 62z. Well, to say in a single statement: it is an AIO machine that both shrugs off space and cost. Edge 62z features a computing power manifested in its 18.5-inch LCD display. No word on the screen’s resolution yet though some are already presuming a Full HD 1080p panel. The Lenovo AIO system runs a 3rd Gen Intel Core i3 (Ivy Bridge) processor in consort with up to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Ivy Bridge is the latest of the Intel processors. The machine offers its owners up to 1TB of hard drive storage and up to 8GB of RAM. It likewise provides USB 2.0 ports for a total of six needed plug-ins. The space-saving model can be placed on a desk through an included stand or be wall-mounted. It is recommended for places as libraries and healthcare stations that ought to minimize space as long as possible. Meanwhile, each Edge 62z unit is guaranteed by an ENERGY STAR 5 certificate which approves of the device’s energy efficiency. The machine is said to consume less than 0.5 Watts of electricity when not in used.
