Apple has just unveiled its latest product offering and this is the all-new Macbook Air 2011. Macbook Air has always been Apple’s ultra thin laptop, but it did not have that power to become a strong contender in the laptop industry.

The new Macbook Air laptop will be powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with 3MB shared L3 cache or 1.7GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 with 3MB shared L3 cache depending on the model. In addition to this, it will also come with a built-in FaceTime camera and comes with Advanced Intel HD graphics 3000. Various connections and expansions slots like USB 2.0, Thunderbolt, headphone port, MagSafe power port, SD card slot are also included as well. Both of the 11-inch and 13-inch model will also come with 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless networking IEEE 802.11a/b/g compatible and Bluetooth connectivity.


Checking out the technological features of the new Macbook Air, we can say that it could be a strong contender in the computer industry. And even if it does not come with an optical CD & DVD disk drive, it is still possible to enjoy audio and video since it has the ability to interact with a CD or DVD drive that has been installed in other computers.

Price for this new Macbook Air ranges from $ 999 to $ 1,599.
