Panasonic finally unveiled the Lumix DMC- GF6. The good news is, this high-quality camera is the device for the social butterflies among us. The Lumix DMC-GF6 is a step-up from the DMC-GF5. 


It has a heftier body and a smooth metallic form. Panasonic has integrated quite a few noteworthy upgrades like a screen that can be tilted to 180-degrees, wireless connectivity and a mode dial. Its connectivity is what Panasonic hopes will set the GF6 apart from the rest. 

The camera has built-in NFC and WiFi capabilities and can connect effortlessly to any smart phone or tablet via an integrated app. The GF6 also has an Instant Transfer function that allows for automatic and wireless transfer of photos or videos. Aside from its connectivity prowess, the GF6 also boasts of full 1920 × 1080 HD AVCHD video recording at 50i or 60i. 

There’s also a heap of modes built in the camera. Some exciting modes to check-out are the Creative Panorama, Self Shot and Stop Motion Animation. The camera’s revamped mode dial is now located at the top to easily access settings that are often used. Panasonic hasn’t confirmed when the Lumix GF6 will hit the market or how much it will cost. 

However, some reports have pegged the camera to cost around $680(BHD 260)and that it will be available by April 24.
