In May when we first heard about the “Samsung Hercules” phone touted as Samsung’s next super device after Galaxy S II which should compete with other Android handsets and the next-generation iPhone 5 expected to arrive by the end of this year.

All seems quiet after that but as of today, insiders believe they’ve found a sighting of the godly phone in Canada. To be more specific, it’s currently being marketed as the Galaxy S2 Hercules phone landing on TELUS network.

Just like the previous specs leaked for this device, it will be under 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, will run 1.2GHz dual-core processor (could be the same Exynos CPU from S II), 16GB integrated storage, 8MP that can video record full HD (1080p) videos and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats.

Interestingly, it appears that rumor about Hercules achieving speed of up to 42Mbps in HSPA+ is for real although there’s no revelation yet if its arrival on T-Mobile USA is already confirmed.

We’ve also gathered other intel this device will be available by the end of this quarter matching nicely as a contender for the new Droid Bionic and whatever secret weapon HTC is preparing on its arsenal, not to mention Sammy is said to be the one who’ll unleash Nexus Prime 4G by the end of this year.
