A website and a Facebook page set up to support the national census have received a good response from the public with 41,121 Internet users visiting the page www.census2010.gov.bh in two weeks and 704 Facebook members accessing the page in just one week.
The website and Facebook page were launched as part of a public awareness campaign by the authorities who are increasingly using social networking site to build bridges of communication with the public.
The new website includes information on this census, as well as details of previous censuses held in the Kingdom.
