Asus confirmed its 12-inch Eee Slate EP121 will become available by the end of the month at $1,000 to $1,100. The EP121 has a 1280 x 800 capacitive touchscreen, runs Windows 7 Home Premium, and is powered by an Intel platform.
Asus’ 1.16kg tablet PC packs a 1.33 GHz Core i5-470UM processor, 2/4GB of RAM, a 32/64GB solid state drive, 802/11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI, a card reader, a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, and will be bundled with a digitizer pen.
