Asus Transformer Pad Infinity has already arrived.Being 8.5 millimeters thin and weighing 598 grams. The dimensions itself have set the bar for tablet design. Asus for its part transformed this sleek slate into a mobile home theater. Why? Because it has 1920×1200 display resolution at full high-definition screen (we can already imagine the sparkle in user’s eyes). Also, having Super IPS+Panel (600 nits) makes it friendly to use in the outdoors. The screen is also made from 2nd generation Corning Gorilla Glass 2 thereby making it scratch resistant. In order for it to deliver what it promises, the tablet has NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 quad-core processor that has a clock speed of 1.6GHz which is an assurance that user gets to enjoy his media. To further boost media experience, it has the SonicMaster audio technology on it which is simply superb when it comes to audio quality. Internal storage can either be 32GB or 64GB. The tablet including the dock gives 14 hours of battery life. Asus’ slate is made available in Amazon starting August 31. The 64GB variant including the dock retails for £600 (BHD 353).
