BlackBerry has launched a new smartphone in Hong Kong, none other than the BlackBerry Porsche P’9982, which is developed in collaboration with Porsche Design.

The handset comes to the market with the specs of BlackBerry Z10, but with completely changed outer case, made of stainless steel, a luxury satin finished frame, and a hand-wrapped genuine Italian leather back plate.

According to GizChina, the smartphone was unveiled with a price tag of $16,888HKD (BHD 821), which clearly shows that it is not meant for the masses.

Specs-wise, the phone features a 4.2-inch touchscreen capable of delivering a 720p resolution, along with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also arrives on the market with 64GB of internal memory.

Apparently, BlackBerry expects this smartphone to prove more popular than its predecessor, namely the P’9981.
