Operating system (OS) is Windows 8 while the processor in charge of running the show is the Intel Core i3 and i5 CPUs. The processor is paired up with 8GB of RAM. As for graphics, it comes with AMD graphics option. Internal storage is not a problem as there is a 1TB of hard disk drive (HDD). There’s also the option of getting a 32GB mSATA solid state drive (SSD) cache. Like the previous Envy’s, the laptop also comes with Beats audio so one can expect superb sound from it. It features HP’s CoolSense technology and SimplePass. The former keeps the laptop from getting too hot when placed on user’s lap while the latter lets user log into it and websites by swiping his or her finger.
The HP Envy M4 is more price-friendly as it retails for about $899 (BHD 340). It goes on sale starting October 26.
