Huawei Mate S – Knuckle around, stylus is old school now

The box comes with impressive packaging inside it we have the main phone unit, a pair of decent headphones, power adapter, cables and with an extra golden Huawei leather smart case which can save the phone from daily bumps.

The phone has solid metal body, looks very sleek & amazingly slim. I personally like the rectangular shape which makes the phone extra grip-able. The overall metal body is similar to other top phones in the market. The specs include 5.5 inch AMOLED FHD screen with gorilla glass display & 16M colors with force touch features (comes only in 128GB version). It comes with a 13mp camera with Optical Image Stabilizer. The camera has a protective sapphire crystal to protect it from dust & harsh conditions. The front camera is 8mp with front light. It’s decent enough to take your daily selfies.

This phone also consists of 3GB of ram with Quad-core 2.2 GHz & quad-core 1.5 GHz CPU. A Finger print reader at the back, which can be used also for scrolling and many other features. The OS on the phone is Android v5.1.1 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow).
It has a Non-removable 2700 mAh battery but personally I am disappointed at the battery. Huawei could have offered more to its customer. The phone has memory card slot which can take microSD up to 128 GB. The Weight on this device is 156g which is decent for a 5.5inch phone.

The phone comes with smart pressure-sensitive screen recognizes pressure and controls navigation, making it easy to quickly preview photos, zoom and weigh objects. (Comes only in 128GB version).
This phone also has The Knuckle Sense 2.0 functions which include circling a screen display to capture a screenshot, designating letters to activate apps, and double-clicking to record.

The Mate S comes in 3 colors Luxurious Gold, Mystic Champagne, Titanium Grey.

Pros
Amazing finger print reader, it’s just amazing and is the best in the market. Can be also used to control notifications, scroll photos from gallery.
The processor and ram is super rocking.
First phone that works with knuckle gestures (Yes it’s amazing, try it)

Cons
The Huawei came up with beautiful device with amazing new knuckle feature & great finger print reader but the battery on this phone sucks and with similar price tag customer can buy phones with far better camera , processor, Ram & battery .

Beautiful phone, amazing impressive hardware for daily use & heavy use, ok camera, great fingerprint reader and cool knuckle feature for daily use.
