The Jolicloud team has this week made available the 1.2 version of its free, open source operating system, which has officially changed its name to Joli OS. Previously it was known as Jolicloud but that name is now reserved for the online desktop available to Joli OS users.
Enough talk about titles though, as this new Joli OS release is all about performance improvements and updates, like the use of Chrome 10 and Flash 10.2, new boot and login screens, a one-click auto-login function, a guest mode, a tweaked user interface, a new file browser, Dropbox integration, and a potentially-super-useful Instant App Creation Wizard.
