Nikon Inc. said that the release of its three new Coolpix digital cameras, the L810, L26 & S30, is in response to the needs of the modern family. Nikon said that the modern family constantly engages in adventures and all sort of activities. The modern family needs a camera device that is both affordable and reliable to capture all the precious moments of the family.
First among the new line of Coolpix is L810. This digital camera is on top of the line-up because of its powerful long zoom (26x), a feature that continues the Nikon tradition on superior zooming capabilities. L810 can make blurs go away in both photos and videos, via its super wide 22.5mm angle lens with VR image stabilization technology. It also has mode, called Sports Continuous Shooting mode, to enable the camera take pictures of fast moving objects or in moving situations. The video capture capability of the L810 features 720p HD with stereo sound. For creative touches on pictures, L810 has 19 scene modes on its camera setting and a 3-inch, 921,000-dot high resolution LCD display.
The Nikon L26 is intended for casual and novice photographers. To assist the inexperienced photographer, the camera features an intelligent automatic Scene Modes, vibration reduction and Smart Portrait technology. It has a 5x (26mm-130mm) optical Zoom-NIKKOR lens for distant shots and can capture 720p HD video. Its 3-inch LCD screen is ideal for photo viewing and edit in case the beginner is not satisfied with his initial shots.
The Coolpix S30 is the most durable camera in the new line-up, with its shockproof (up to 2.6 feet) and waterproof *(up to 9.8 feet) body. The camera can take beautiful pictures for up to 10.1 megapixel and high quality videos through its HD video capabilities. S30 also has a 3x wide angle zoom lens, friendly modes for photo shoot, such as the Smart Portrait System. The new cameras will be available in February 2012 with a price of $279.95 for the L810, $119.95 for the S30 and $119.95 for the L26. All cameras will come in a variety of colors for buyers to choose from.
