Russell Peters set to perform in Dubai

International comedian Russell Peters is set to perform in Dubai at the city’s World Trade Centre on the 19th and 20th of January.

The shows will be part of his new “Almost Famous World Tour,” which he recently took to Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the UK. Peters has previously performed in the UAE in 2012 and 2013.

Famous for including audiences in his performances, Peters said, “I like to interact with the front rows [because] I use the interaction to take me from bit to bit. Some guys go on-stage with a script and don’t deviate from it. That’s not my style.”

Peters, who’s the first South Asian to sell-out Harlem’s Apollo Theatre and Brooklyn’s Barclays Arena, has also been featured on TV shows and film.
