STME, the Middle East’s leading IT solutions provider and systems integrator (SI), headquartered in Dubai recently concluded its 2016 INSIGHT Day, to be held annually as part of STME tradition and vision. Invited to the 2016 Insight were STME leading partners and top and middle management from across the Middle East. This year ‘’STME 2016 Insight Day’’ was held from 9-10 December 2015 at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Ras al Khaimah, UAE.
“Our purpose in having a day where top and middle management of sales, presales, and support, come together with our partners is to usher a sense of camaraderie that will lead to brain storming new ideas, and processes for the coming year, along with canvassing technology updates and products from our partners. As this inaugural event was successful, we will definitely plan a bigger event with representation of more of our partners for the next year’s edition,’’ commented Mr. Ayman Al Bayaa, CEO of STME.
The Insight Day was structured around internal sessions, workshops and team building exercises. Additionally, there were sessions on CTO Technology Vision and Unified Compute Platform and Portfolio conducted by NetApp and Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) respectively, two important STME partners.
“NetApp was delighted to be involved in STME’s 2016 Insight event. We shared our vision of where the market is moving and the importance of our Data Fabric offering which allows customers to combine On Premise along with Cloud and Hybrid Cloud, to ensure that customers have the flexibility to move and manage their data as and when and where they need it, which is unique to NetApp. The relationship with STME is a long one for NetApp and we work together across most of the Middle East countries and we have forged many friendships between our two companies, so it’s always a pleasure to spend time with the STME team” said Graham Porter, NetApp MENA Channel Manager.
“It was a great event which provided a platform not only to the STME team but also to the company partners. For us at, HDS, we had the opportunity to understand and share STME’s Strategy and Vision for 2016. STME is a specialist in business consultancy areas and is equipped with best-in-class services to focus more on consultancy rather than only technical deployment. STME’s ability to add value will continue to deepen and will be a great advantage for existing and potential customers.” said Sushma Kajaria, HDS Regional Channel Manager.
STME’s Insight Day also provided opportunities for discussions on formulating pioneering services for technology adaption by customers in MENA, developments in technology, and a sharing of knowledge on how these can best benefit STME’s strategic goals. The event detailed the growth, success, and challenges faced and experience by STME in 2015 with a goal to outline the way ahead in 2016.
