Zorin OS 7 Dreams to Takeover Windows 7 Users

Zorin OS, a multi-functional operating system based on Ubuntu and designed specifically for Windows users who want to have easy and smooth access to Linux, is now at version 7 RC.

The new Zorin OS 7 RC is based on Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) and provides a lot of updated software and packages.

Highlights of Zorin OS 7 RC:

• Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.8;
• Pidgin has replaced Empathy;
• Geary Mail has replaced Thunderbird;
• A brand new desktop theme has been included;
• The Zorin Web Browser Manager has been added.
