Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo are great companions of a Samsung smart phone. Both watches are functional and powered by Tizen, Samsung’s latest OS rather than Androids. It is capable of receiving notifications for incoming calls, SMS and other forms of communication. It has a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display with 320 x 320 resolution. The smartwatches are packed with 1.0GHz dualcore processor and 2-MP autofocus camera. It can record videos at 720p and can support microphone inputs.

Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo can work as a music player where you can transfer music through Bluetooth technology. And as you are a health buff, these watches have pedometers, heart rate and sleep monitoring. It also comes with heart gyroscope and accelerometer.

Some of these features are included in Gear Fit. However, the smartwatch is lighter and comes with a sleeker design. It can also interact two ways with a Samsung phone by being capable of receiving or rejecting calls, and providing required feedback for incoming SMS. Gear Fit works better than the other two in terms of battery life, which should run three to four days on regular usage.

All three smartwatches are provided with easy swappable straps. Shipment begins April 11 in over 150 countries and prices are yet to be announced.
